About the Project
For December’s project we’re supporting Emily’s Entourage with their 5TH ANNUAL EVENING WITH EMILY’S ENTOURAGE GALA. You can read more about last years Gala here. Emily’s Entourage will provide comp tickets with our help for supporters who are committed to the mission and interested in attending the 2016 Evening with Emily’s Entourage Gala, but unable to afford the cost of the ticket. At Emily’s Entourage, every person is an important part of their team to cure CF. It is important to us that nobody is prohibited from attending our gala due to financial constraints. We are so excited to be able to offer this special program to cover the costs of these tickets.
As part of the project, we are thrilled at the prospect of having a collection of Gethrr volunteers and as well as Poser Photobooth Co. The volunteers will be crucial for assisting in clean up, set up and working at the gala in a variety of capacities depending on need and their skillset and interest. They will work closely with Barbra Berley-Mellits and Dana Saewitz, their volunteer sub-committee chairs for placement, training and coordination. In the meantime, if you’re interested in volunteering please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org/gethrr. I’ll forward your name so once all the volunteering needs are finalized you’ll receive an email.

About Cystic Fibrosis
Cystic Fibrosis is a fatal genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. It causes build-up of thick, sticky mucus in the lungs that leads to life-threatening lung infections. There are currently 70,000 people living with Cystic Fibrosis worldwide. The projected life expectancy is 41 years, although that number is skewed upwards by those with milder forms of the disease than Emily’s.
